Welcome to WaiOne! WaiOne and its website (www.waione.com) is a social web-based platform which enables you to organize or attend events across the world.

By indicating during the registration process that you have read and agreed to this Agreement, you acknowledge that you are 18 years old or above and that you understand and agree to all of the terms of this Agreement. It is your responsibility to review the most recent version of the Agreement frequently and remain informed about any changes to it. By continuing to use the Platform, you consent to any updates to this Agreement. This agreement is written in English (US). To the extent any translated version of this agreement conflicts with the English version, the English version controls.

Safety

Your use of our Platform is at your sole risk. Our Platform is provided to you "as is" and on an "as available" basis. We disclaim any warranties regarding the security, reliability, timeliness, and performance of our Platform. In order to keep our platform as safe as possible, you agree that:

• You will not bully, intimidate, threaten, insult or harm another user in any way.
• You will protect the privacy of other users and not disclose personal information you might have acquired by getting socially close to the user.
• You will not upload viruses or other malicious code or engage in any actions that will damage or highly decrease the performance of our platform (such as DDOS attack).
• You will not try to copy, modify, alter or resale parts or all of the source code of the platform.
• You will not engage in any multi-level marketing, chain letters, pyramid scheme or use WaiOne to sell any kind of merchandising.
• You will not impersonate any person or entity (including WaiOne staff or other users), or falsely state / misrepresent your affiliation with any individual or organization, through the use of similar email addresses, nicknames, or creation of false account.
• You will not organize unlawful, misleading, malicious, discriminatory events or any events promoting war, violence, drug usage, pornography or racial hatred.

Responsibility

We don’t organize any of the events listed on our platform and we have no control over the identity or actions of the individuals present at these events. Therefore, we request that you exercise caution and good judgment when attending these events. WaiOne will not be held liable for any unfortunate outcomes (expenses, injuries, loss of business, loss of life, pain and suffering…) resulting from attending any of these events. You agree to use the platform and attend WaiOne meetings at your own risk. As you agree that you bear all risk, you also agree to release WaiOne from any claims, demands, and damages of every kind and nature.

Privacy

Your privacy is very important to us. The personal information you provide during the registration process will only be used within our platform to provide the best service and experience possible. We will not sell or disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent. Please be aware that part of the basic information you provide might be visible to other users (name, photos, interests, events).

Communication

By joining WaiOne, you agree and acknowledge that you might receive communications from WaiOne regarding upcoming events or general information about our platform. You also acknowledge that you might receive message from other WaiOne users through our Thread system (your email address will not be disclosed). Please keep in mind that we do not control the content or information provided by other users. You may find other users' content to be inappropriate or deceptive. Please always use common sense when using our platform as you may be dealing with people acting under false pretense.

Termination

We are entitled to terminate your account without notice if you violate the Terms or spirit of this Agreement, or create risk or possible legal exposure for us. We may also report your actions and identity to the local authorities if we assess that your behavior might represent a threat for our users or our community. We have the right, in our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your use of our Platform and refuse any and all current or future use of all or any portion of our Platform.

Proprietary Rights

You acknowledge that our platform contains proprietary information that is protected by intellectual property laws. Therefore, you agree not to alter, resell, distribute, duplicate or exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion of WaiOne Platform without our explicit consent.

Dispute Resolution

You agree that you will attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute or claim through negotiation relating to this Agreement or your use of our platform. Should the negotiation fail, a legal court in Hong Kong will be appointed for a Judicial Arbitration. If anyone brings a claim against us related to your actions, content or information on WaiOne, you will hold us harmless from and against all damages, losses, and expenses of any kind related to such claim. Even though we provide rules for user conduct we cannot be held responsible for the conduct, contents and actions, whether online or offline, of any user of WaiOne.
